This Grand Cru red wine from Domaine Jacques Prieur was born in the 1.28-hectare vineyard of the Clos Vougeot appellation.
It is made entirely from previously de-stemmed Pinot Noir grapes. This is followed by a fermentation lasting 20 days at a controlled temperature in open wooden vats. The ripening takes place in oak barrels and lasts for 20 months.
Ruby red with purple highlights, it expresses itself on the nose with aromas of pink, small fruits and spices such as pepper and nutmeg. The sip is juicy, with fine tannins and excellent persistence.
