Bold aromas and flavors of cherry, coffe and spice prevail through the midpalate, then shut down quickly as the stiff structure emerges, This is a baby, monolithic and backward, with dense fruit and a long, vibrant finish.
Born on the upper part of the Clos, this wine is not as deep as the well of the Château du Clos de Vougeot (27 m!), but it is presented under a beautiful stained glass colour struck by a ray of sunshine. On the nose, the bouquet opens with aeration on the fruit. The mouth offers a beautiful balance between matter and tannins.
