Meursault de Coche-Dury is a red wine of exceptional elegance and complexity, produced in extremely limited quantities on the famous lands of Meursault, in the Côte de Beaune, part of the Côte d'Or in Burgundy. The Pinot Noir vines, cultivated on two small plots of only 0.12 and 0.25 hectares, planted in the 1980s, benefit from a unique terroir, characterised by soils rich in clay-limestones that give the wine an extraordinary structure.
The winemaking process follows traditional methods, with fermentation lasting about 12 days and careful use of new and second-pass barrels. This approach allows us to preserve the integrity of the grapes, to enhance the varietal characteristics of Pinot Noir and to add subtle nuances and structural elegance. The meticulous care and attention to detail at each stage of winemaking is reflected in the refined and complex nature of this win
On sight it has an intense and deep red color. On the nose, it reveals a wide range of complex aromas ranging from ripe red fruits to floral, spicy and slightly roasted notes, which evolve over time to earthy and mineral notes. In the mouth, it has silky and well-integrated tannins, vibrant freshness and long persistence.
